Josh made it to the city gates and looked back to see the others. "Whoo hoo! I'm finally not last!" Manectric came up, huffing and puffing. "Manec...nectric...nectric..." (I think I...worked off the...weight from before...) Josh leaned down and poked Manectric's stomach.

"Nah, you still have a little ways to go." Manectric glared at him. But remembering their truce back in the mansion, he shook it off. Korinku followed behind, who actually DID lose all the weight. He didn't gain that much. All his other pokemon hitched a ride in their pokeballs. Josh noticed how Korinku looked stronger, and how he was probably close to evolving.

"Josh you need to make Manectric run more often." said Zack,Hikari,Hikaru,and Yuko already on the other side of the city gates."Yeah Manectric o make another lap and lose some more weight." said Hikari laughing.Then Ashlen caught up complaining.What will you do..........................

Manectric was already on it, and came back with his scarf that he forgot back at the mansion. Josh could see the friction marks from where his paws touched the ground. He lost most of the weight, and any that he still had was nearly unnoticable.

"Seems good enough." Josh went through the gate, with his two pokemon following. "So what should we start with? I'd suggest a pokemon center. I could use a good rest. And I'm sure so could our pokemon."

"Well, actually, Ghost attacks are able to hit fighting pokemon. But I'll go to the Pokemon Center, first. Ashlen, I have something that you might like to see." She was the only one who hasn't seen Zapdos, and Hikari was the only one who saw Darkrai. "I think you'd like it." He walked into the Pokemon Center and asked Nurse Joy to heal his pokemon.

Pineco jumped into Josh's arms, and Chinchou just sitting on the chair next to him. Manectric and Korinku both looked into the Magikarp tank nearby. "So, who's going to face the Gym Leader first?"
